Our preferred materials are plastics, notably PVC which is much more durable than MDF or timber.
Below is an example of a PVC subwoofer enclosure which replaces a small stowage locker.
Custom 6 inch Subwoofer in Mitsubishi Legnum S/W retains all available luggage space and can outperform some 12 inch subwoofer installs we have seen!
Another PVC fabrication is pictured below.The panel on the left is the original factory for an odd- sized shaft mount USA Delco radio.
We are often dismayed at the sight of beautifully restored classics and Hot Rods at shows with a stereo stuck under the dash with perforated metal strap or other such agricultural bodge up.
On the right is our panel manufactured from scratch to fit a modern head unit.The vehicle was a 1969 Mercury Cougar and was installed with a flip open CD head unit flush fitted. Behind the panel is a custom made steel mounting which secures the stereo.
